Kent Island Day

“Bad News – Heavy Rain!
Kent Island Day 2018 is cancelled, both the parade and the in-town festival.
We’re sorry to announce that the weather will overwhelm our Kent Island Day
2018 plans.
Based on the dismal weather forecast of heavy rain and storms all week
through Saturday, we’ve had to take preemptive action.
There is no rain date, We’ll look forward to a bigger and better event next
year.
We thank our community for their understanding and for their continuing
support of Kent Island Day.“

Kent Island Day

Each year, on the third Saturday of May, Kent Island Day commemorates the founding of Kent Island in 1631 with a parade down Main Street, historic exhibits, displays, musical entertainment, activities, food, vendors, costumes, activities for kids and crafts.
